Meet Carolina Caro, Our Founder

 

Carolina Caro is the CEO of Conscious Leadership Partners, a boutique consulting firm that helps organizations evolve leadership, align teams and transform culture; one unlearned pattern at a time.

With over 15 years of experience, she’s helped thousands of leaders break free from outdated behaviors, uncover blind spots, and lead with more clarity, courage, and consciousness. Her clients include high-profile leaders at the FBI, NASA, and Warner; plus plenty of humans just trying to survive their next Zoom call with grace. 

Having experienced the transformational power of unlearning firsthand, Carolina is on a mission to help others move beyond default patterns shaped by years of conditioning and lead from a place that’s more intentional, coherent, and true to who they really are.

CAROLINA'S STORY

Carolina is on a mission to help leaders, teams, and organizations unlearn the identity-level patterns that limit growth and lead from a place that’s more conscious, coherent, and true to who they really are.

Raised with strong narratives around discipline, perfectionism, and achievement, her own Generational Conditioning® taught her how to "succeed" but not necessarily how to thrive. Breaking free from those patterns became the foundation of her life’s work. She realized she wasn’t alone. Many high-performing leaders and teams remain bound by the same invisible stories about power, worth, and what leadership “should” look like. In many cases, it’s their very success that becomes the interference to what’s next.

Her pivot wasn’t just a career change, it was an unlearning. She began to unravel the identity she had tied to achievement and external success, discovering a deeper truth: growth doesn’t come from doing more, it comes from being differently. Because when you change who you’re being, the doing becomes transformational.

Before founding Conscious Leadership Partners, Carolina spent years inside the corporate world at Pfizer and Merck, where she saw firsthand how identity patterns shape culture, performance, and inclusion within complex systems. Those experiences revealed a powerful insight: culture follows identity. When leaders and teams reclaim coherence: the alignment of self, relational, and collective identity; they unlock the capacity to evolve leadership, align teams, and transform culture.

The Neuroscience Behind Generational Conditioning

From an early age, our nervous system absorbs the cultural norms, beliefs, and expectations of the generations before us. These repeated messages wire neural pathways that become default identity patterns,  shaping how we think, lead, communicate, and make decisions. Some of these patterns elevate our leadership; others quietly limit it, keeping us reactive rather than responsive.

This conditioning isn’t personal, it’s universal. We’ve all inherited invisible scripts about success, power, worth, and belonging that shape how we show up at work and in life. These patterns don’t just live in individuals; they ripple through teams, organizations, and entire systems, reinforcing the very dynamics we’re trying to change.

Rewiring begins with awareness: noticing when conditioning takes over and consciously choosing a new response that reflects who we are now, not who we were taught to be.

I had to face this in my own journey. I was conditioned to be the workhorse, relentlessly productive as a way to honor my background and prove my worth. For years, I resisted rest because it felt like betrayal. But I’ve since learned that what once served my survival now sabotages my leadership.

And I see this every day: leaders who struggle to delegate, avoid conflict, overexplain, or under-communicate. It’s rarely a skill gap, it’s Generational Conditioning® running the show. When we unlearn those inherited patterns, we don’t just change what we do; we change who we’re being, and that changes everything.

Carolina Caro

Official Bio

Carolina’s superpower is blending evidence-based insight with humor and heart. Whether on stage or in the boardroom, she helps people remember who they are beneath all the titles, and invites them to lead from that place.

Carolina trained with the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC) and is credentialed with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) where she maintains her Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation. She is also a professional speaker, known for her compelling TedX Talk Redefining Success: The Mindful Shift from Me to We.

She earned the prestigious Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) status with the National Speakers Association, which is held by less than 15% of speakers globally. She is also a member of the Society for Diversity and holds both the Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) and Certified Diversity Executive (CDE) credentials.

She brings a multicultural lens to her work, rooted in her Hispanic and Indian heritage and expressed through her fluency in English, Spanish, and French. Her academic path is just as eclectic, with degrees in Cell and Molecular Biology, Experimental Medicine, and Business Administration, plus a professional acting certificate from the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre in New York (because science and spreadsheets needed a little stage presence).

Patti Traglio

Business Development Manager

Patti Traglio leads the speaking arm of Conscious Leadership Partners as Business Development Manager, serving as the primary point of contact for organizations and event partners. With more than 30 years of experience in human resources and talent management, she understands what it takes to connect with diverse audiences, build trust, and deliver programs that resonate across industries.

In her role, Patti oversees all aspects of Carolina Caro’s speaking engagements, from first inquiry to post-event follow-up. She partners closely with speaker bureau agents, meeting planners and executive sponsors to ensure every detail is handled with precision and care, while keeping the client experience seamless and stress-free.

In addition to leading the speaking business, Patti also supports CLP’s consulting practice, ensuring clients experience the same level of excellence and attentiveness across workshops, leadership programs, and long-term culture initiatives.

Operations Manager

Rosangela Goatache serves as the Operations Manager at Conscious Leadership Partners, bringing strong financial expertise and steady leadership to our internal operations. She oversees everything from budgeting and backend systems to staff training and strategic alignment.


Rosangela also manages our social media agency and virtual assistants, ensuring smooth coordination across all internal and external efforts. With her sharp eye for detail and commitment to excellence, she keeps our team focused, supported, and ready to deliver high-impact results for our clients.
